The coalition established a twofold mission:

• To provide access to comprehensive information and resources on end of life care
• To raise public awareness and create opportunities for dialogue about end of life issues, care choices and planning.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Compassionate Care Alliance; we became a 501(c)3 non-profit agency in December of 2002.

• Bioethics Education Initiative
• Educational Workshops and Forum for Professionals and Community Members
• Healing Through the Arts
• POLST (Physician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment) Outreach and Education
